Often, I have people who come up and compliment me on my clothing and or accessories. I am very flattered and greatly appreciate those compliments.
The other day I was given a compliment by my waitress on this ring I always wear. It’s something that is precious to me and I wouldn’t ever want to lose. However, with a bit of thinking something was brought to my attention after that comment.
I have a love for fashion and am constantly wanting to share that with others. I also want to figure out how I can extend that beyond my blog. So, what better idea than to hand off something so beautiful? Over the past few years, I have had a better understanding that materialistic items are just items. If you don’t wear them, they just sit there. Despite having this ring be my favorite of all my rings at the moment, I can always find another one. Instead of consuming a piece so much, why not share my treasures with someone who I know will appreciate them just as much as I would? I want to help the people of this world become more stylish one ring at a time, ya know?
Enjoy your new home little flower! You will greatly be missed.
Note to self: next shopping trip, find a new statement ring.
I’ve never experienced a winter where you can wear dresses and open toe heels. It’s absurd yet totally cool all at the same time. I’m not complaining, well maybe sometimes if its really cold but that’s not the point. The point today is to share my goods that I purchased at *surprise surprise* Zara. Back story: I’ve been watching GG lately, and really have been focusing on the fashion, so I tried to stick to what would GG wear manta for this spree. Without further ado, here are my goods.
- As I start to ascend in my adult years, I am trying to wear more dresses/I really enjoy dresses heaps more now. This v-neck babydoll dress is PERFECT for layering with those chunky knit sweaters. Or if it’s a tad warmer, that crop cotton T you have will pair just as perfectly. Also, this dress reminded me of Blair and Serena put together. What do you think?
Fun fact: This dress has pockets. Sold.
- My eye was caught to the ruching of this beautiful beautiful jumpsuit. Have you ever seen a jumpsuit with chord locks?? On an even more exciting note, it fits me in vertical length as well, which never ever happens. So thank you Zara for making appropriate fitting jumpsuits for vertically challenged people. (Serena inspired)
- I’m not sure what’s been up with me, but ya girl has been really intrigued with velvet blush pink. Yah, I know, right? I made an acceptation because I told myself colour is needed in my wardrobe, thus, the shoes had to be bought. They are so fun, with them being velvet and platform as well. You can definitely rock the socks in these heels or go all nude. Winning all around. (Vanessa inspired)
I also still try to buy pieces that I can wear together instead one time. Platform shoes go really well with jumpsuits to add height if the leg is a little too long. Also, baby doll dresses look very chic with platform shoes. They create a more appropriate aged looking outfit, rather than looking 12 again.
Again cannot be more thrilled to be wearing these kind of pieces in winter. Really looking forward to rocking these velvet babes in the sunshine!!
I figured I would share with you all my recent favs, or even items that I have been using very frequently lately.
I am very grateful I stashed this baby in my suitcase. At first, I did not think I would need but, yup, 100% needed it. You can find the same one here!
If you follow me on Insta, you will know that pink is NOT a colour I wear nor can usually wear (if you want to follow me, you can right here). It tends to wash me out but… I found a pink that is an exception and it’s also VELVET! Guys, when I saw this piece, without hesitation grabbed it && they had one more Small… it was meant to be! Also, I am not quite sure if this is a dressing gown or just a kimono, but it works either way. You can find a similar one here.
Crop tops were never an essential to my wardrobe until I was hit with some inspiration while looking at the new Zara collection. One word: LAYERS. Now, layers are my thing and so are pairing crop tops with big baggy sweaters, long sleeves and even short sleeve blouses. If you want to jazz up any top and I mean any top, just at a crop and it’s like you’re in grade school all over again but with style. This baby is also on sale right now, so check it out right here.
I have to say that these PJ pants are the cutest and most comfortable bottoms I’ve ever worn. Peter Alexander made these with his signature pup, think you can guess it… wiener dog. Since we don’t have one in the states, I told myself it was a MUST-GET when I was over here. If you have never heard of PA 1. you’re missing && 2. you can check his designs out here.
Spurts some Flowerbomb on ya once in awhile, ok? Sometimes you just need to smell like flowers and heaven hence the name. And Viktor&Rolf has done the deed. My go-to spray always always always will be this. It can be found at none other than the infamous Nordies.
Lately, I have really been all about that cozy look. It’s been quite comfy per my new lifestyle. It’s very chilled a laid back here in NZ. With that, the over obnoxious looks, can be really too obnoxious. So I’ve really been enjoying this minimalistic versatile wardrobe. If you follow me on my insta, which you can right here (; my go-to pieces at the moment, have been my RapidaRun Adidas. My bloody awesome denim jacket, blue velvet booties, my White sheer straight dress and the worlds comfiest yoga pants; that I scored at TjMaxx. However, I sadly cannot find them online right now, but you can find similar ones here.
I highly recommend these being in your wardrobe because of the versatiltiy they can provide, and will always be a handy essential for any time of day if you forget that one shoe, or top because who doesn’t run late?!
